While the following quotes are Knee Highs standard fees we have the
ability to negotiate a package for your event, depending on your
budget and logistical requirements.
All prices are based on performance in Adelaide.

Giant Puppets:

The Android Sisters (between one and four sisters);
Contrary Mary, Ag, Nicko

(Fees do not include GST)
One giant puppet with minder or ground character: $850
Two giant puppets with minder/s or ground character/s: $1,500
Three giant puppets with minder/s or ground character/s: $2,050
Four giant puppets with minder/s or ground character/s: $2,500

This includes an 8-hour call with three x 30-40min appearances within one day/night.

Minimum of 60min break required between the end of one performance and
the beginning of the next performance.
Minimum for one appearance of a single puppet is $600.

Stilt Characters/ The Cone People
Four stilt walking characters available together, individually or in pairs
The Cone people entertain, perform and interact with crowds at parades and outdoor and corporate events in brilliant scarlet costumes.

Cost
One stilt walking character $375
Two stilt walking characters $625
Three stilt walking characters $875
Four stilt walking characters $1125
Characters are 3 metres tall.


Inflated Characters or Blowies
Leafy Sea dragon - 7 metres long and 4 metres high
Rainbow Echidna - 4 metres long
Freda - 6 metre seated female character who starred in the Sydney Paralympics
Earth - 3 metre diameter giant globe of the Earth
Spider - 3 metre wide and purple!
Giant inflated characters or blowies are an effective visual highlight to outdoor or indoor events.

Cost
6 hour day including set up and trained superviser $770 per day
Extra infalatables on the same day $370 ea


Flags and Banners
Flags - 20 available up to 2 metres long and installed on 7 metre bamboo poles.

Cost
Per day per flag including pickets and poles $20
Installation per hour set up and take down $30
Flag poles are fixed on 2 star pickets set into the ground 300mm.



The Burning Man
The Burning Man is an 3.6 tall, articulated steel burning puppet. Spectacular alone or as part of a larger Fire show. ( Price negotiable)
For a single appearance: $1600
Freight costs will be negotiated separately but are usually minimal.

Rusty the Burning Dog
Usually negotiated as part of a package with The Burning Man. All steel construction on wheels. Freight costs will be negotiated separately but are usually minimal.

Fire Sculptures, Lanterns
Negotiable - depending upon complexity, number, etc.
E.g.: One 1m x 2m Static Fire Picture approx. $1200

Workshops Fire Sculptures, Lanterns, Puppets
Instructors fees: $185/halfday or $300/ day $1200/ 5 day wk, weekend days-$350/day
Plus Travel costs and Living Away Allowance as required.
Costs of Materials vary depending on workshop content, complexity, quantity etc.

Commissions - Giant puppets, Inflatables, Fire Sculptures, Lanterns, etc. Negotiable
All fees include ground-based actors and/or experienced support staff as required along with workcover, superannuation, and insurance costs for our personnel and public liability.

PLEASE NOTE:
These are appearance fees only. Regional, interstate, and international bookings will involve some additional costs to cover transport, meal and accommodation allowance and local transport. These are all fully negotiable with in-kind support welcome.

~Road: Depending on location and timing of performance/project road transport of personnel, puppets and equipment can be efficient and economical.

~ Air: When personnel are flown to performance / project locations, puppets and equipment fly within normal baggage allowances, only occasionally incurring extra baggage fees.

Accommodation: Union rates for living away from home include;
If client is not providing meals or accommodation
approx.: $65 accom.. $45 meals and incidentals
= $110 per person per day
